Rooted in Connection is proud to partner with Around the Korner, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, to create enriching and inclusive learning environments where children of all abilities can develop meaningful skills, build relationships, and experience a genuine sense of belonging.
Our collaborative model integrates evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), developmentally appropriate teaching practices, and child-led learning opportunities to support each child’s individual needs while promoting independence, communication, self-advocacy, and overall quality of life.
Thoughtfully designed spaces for learning and connection
Our learning environments were intentionally created to support individualized instruction, exploration, meaningful play, and skill development within welcoming, enriched spaces.
Skill & Play Studio
The Skill & Play Studio provides opportunities for naturalistic teaching, child-led exploration, peer engagement, and individualized skill development.
Through carefully selected learning materials, hands-on activities, and developmentally appropriate experiences, children can strengthen communication, social interaction, play, independence, and daily living skills.
Learning is thoughtfully embedded into activities that are meaningful, engaging, and responsive to each child’s interests and current skill repertoire.
Regulation Studio
The Regulation Studio is designed to support individualized learning experiences, emotional awareness, self-regulation skill development, and opportunities for focused instruction within a lower-stimulation environment.
This space offers opportunities to practice communication, coping strategies, flexibility, and independence through supportive, relationship-centered instruction.
Both environments reflect our belief that children learn best when they feel safe, connected, respected, and empowered to participate in their own learning.
